Arburg company would show more smart metal injection molding

In recent days,Arburg company Germany declared that they would show more metal injection mold solutions of the smart mobile phone parts on Europe Powder Metallurgy 2017 meeting. Mr. Marko Maetzig would make a speech on the meeting to describe the progress of the metal injection molding technology of Arburg company. So at that time on the meeting,Mr Maetzig would give an account of the low cost MIM mobile phone parts with the structure thin wall and big dimension,the speech files would be came from the MIM team leader of Arburg company ,Mr Hartmut Walcher and Mr Sven Fleischmann from BASF Germany.

Thus with the developing cooperation progress with BASF company,Arburg company first released the metal injection molding mobile phone cells in 2016. They use Catamold 17-4 PH Plus feedstock to make the green parts with the thickness 1mm and length 136mm,and, in order to guarantee the unique density on the entire structure,they use the liquid temperature controlled hot flow runner to control the mold temperature, in order to reach the high quality finishes of the parts and the shining surface.

Maetzig said, this technology expanded the application ranges of metal injection molding processing,so except for the parts with the micro and complex structures,large parts with thin walls structures could be done by metal injection molding(MIM)processing.

The Europe Powder Metallurgy meeting 2017 would be held in Milan, Italy from 1st,Oct-4th,Oct,2017,it is one of most important meetings in Powder Metallurgy field all over the world.
