High raw material ultilization and low production cost of P

The produce process of powder metallury: Raw material,tooling,compacting,sintering,post-machining.
 
1,Raw metal powder cost: The cost of metal powder is higher than the cost of casting metal material,because it would consume the energe on the process from metal into metal powder.There is no doubt that the ultilization of powder metallurgy metal powder is very high,so it is not sure that the total cost of powder metallurgy process would be higher than casting and forging process for one component producing.The raw material utilization is 95%-98% generally.

2,Compacting cost: Including compacting cost and labour cost.As the tonnage of the compacting machine increasing,the inverstment cost would be increased,in contrary,the prodovitity would be reduced.
 
3,Sintering cost: Including equipment cost,energe consuming cost,labour cost.
 
4,Tooling cost:Including material cost and maintaining cost.The cost of the tooling was determinded by its structure ,while the tooling structure was determinded by the component's structure.So the tooling cost was impacted by the component structure.
 
5,Post-machining cost:Including all the cost taken place after sintering,such as resizing,impregnation,cutting,heat treatment,surface treatment,etc.
